Avery's Art Class... & Earth Day

First, the pinch pot...now Avery's moved on to the 'banding wheel'.  Here is the creativity in action!  

Avery celebrated Earth Day today by taking a trip to the SCEE ...  where TPS kids learn about science and the environment.    Walker was able to cancel his meetings for the AM and join A on the trip!   Walker reports that there is, "no good story."  I think he is tired, though he said they had a good time.   We can await the deets from Avery.

Updates: 1. Avery has learned how to gallop. He calls it skipping, and he has been doing it all around the living room, street, park, store... since yesterday afternoon. Everywhere. 2. Avery asked Walker, "What alphabet does your name begin with?" 3. I asked Avery what we are going to do tomorrow, and he said, "We are going to get some hay and ride on a pumpkin!" He's very excited, although he seems to have it switched around a bit.

A New Food Every Three Days...

If you were to try a new food every three days for about a year, don't you think you'd get to the point where you had to be really creative to find something new? With combinations of ingredients, knowing that you have tried one dish, you would think that you'd exhaust the possibilities. Well, we've been new foods like this for some time now, and every time I go to the grocery or Farmer's Market, I come back with something new for Avery. Ritz crackers were introduced today! Chive cream cheese was on the menu a few days ago. This evening, we combined the two for Ritz cracker and chive cream cheese fiesta. Avery hogged down seven crackers piled high with cream cheese, had a huge piece of extra sharp cheddar, and some berry applesauce. This was all washed down with a huge bottle of organic whole milk, which friend Jeanna says, "tastes like fresh cut grass and ice cream."
