From the Mouths of (Our) Babes

"How old do you have to be to have an extravaganza?" Avery asked, referring to a bar/t mitzvah.

He was just thirsty and we were giving him vanilla milkshakes.

"Sometimes, when I am at a place for a while, I begin to think its home." Avery

"There must be a way to turn this green veggie juice into milk...."

Beckett kept trying to put on this little tiny hat as a joke last night. Avery doesn't think he was joking.

Avery's having a moment .

"You shouldn't say NO loudly to Beckett. He might get scared and start attacking you." Avery Said after he said NO loudly to Beckett.

"It's probably true that right now, I'm Beckett's favorite person. But that might just be because he doesn't know a lot of people. Once he starts meeting other people he might have a new favorite person."

"I like having Beckett around. It's different when he's not here."

"Pretty much all ninjas do is jump around from roof to roof stealing jewels. That's what they do because ninjas don't earn money. I will never been a ninja because I'm going to earn lots of money."

Found on a low shelf, easily accessed by B. Apparently, he was hiding/hoarding these. The duck is a decoy. All others choke-able. The drop of milk was our second clue ( the first was Beckett's constant milling around by the low shelf.)

He will NOT wear a hat. Blanket over his head, however, appears to be totally acceptable.

"Avery, if you pick your head up off your pillow again I will go downstairs. You need to go to sleep." ((((Movement)))) "Did you take your head off your pillow???" "I didn't put it back on my pillow! You said if I picked it up you'd go downstairs. Technically, I didn't pick it up because I never put it back down."
