Avery is sitting across the room watching a video and slurping a smoothie. All of the sudden he starts to yell, "Dooooo Doooo Dooo Do!!!!". When I told hinge should be quiet (Beckett is napping), he said, "but moooooommmm, I'm trying to get attention!"

...but not yet on cue. Middle of the night last night, B between us. He starts clapping. Too funny.

Why don't they just make a portable bath? It could be something you bring anywhere. If you press a button, it will mechanically fill with water and wash you. Then if you press another button, it will fold up into a little white square.

Not so patiently...

From Avery's report card (a theme this year was learning about friendship), "Avery stated that a good friend is someone who "not just plays with you a lot, but thinks about you a lot, too." I LOVE TPS.

Avery helped prepare with the stud finder.

Just went shopping for shoes with Avery. He wanted the camo version of a pair of sandals. They only had blue in his size.   When he learned this, he replied, "that's ok! I can blend with the sky instead of the land."

A: can I get a whoopy pillow? W: well, maybe if you're really well behaved you'll get a whoopy cushion. (??) A: so, dad, what exactly do you mean by "well behaved"?
