One time there was a bad guy named Jake.  And a banana came.  And Jake slipped in the banana!

Beckett received a clapping elephant toy today for not hitting.   When he saw Avery, he hit him with it.

Becket just said, "Avery does NOT have any reading!  He does NOT.  He's definitely LYING." About  his reading.   Homework.  Tonight. Because Avery had to read.   So he's definitely LYING. Beckett's serious.

At a restaurant, Mikado, Beckett just indicated he needed to go.  He pulled on my hand and asked me to join.  I thought it'd already happened.  He pleaded, he begged, he asked Walker.  Walker went with him and …. it was for real!  He pooped in the potty all by himself! Afterwards, he came back to the table, very proud of himself.  Our waiter, Tim, asked if he needed anything. He told him,  "I pooped in the potty!  And I WASHED MY HANDS." Tim replied, "Well, now you have more room!!"

Is it going to thunder tonight? What day is it? What time is it? What day is tomorrow? After that, he's on his own to sleep.

"Next week, when you're in school, someone's going to come and help us make your room better for you." "Is it Santa Claus?" "No, her name is Emily." "Do they sonetimes call her Santa Claus Emily?"

8 year/3 year check up Avery is in the 72nd percentile in weight and 80th height. Beckett is in the 93rd percentile in weight and 69th in height. All else good!

Going to bed tonight. Me: I love you, Beckett. Beckett: do I need to say love back? Me:only if you really want to. <<pause>> Beckett: I yuv you. I yuv you. I yuv you. ❤️

Beckett loves bathing. Avery does not. working on opposite ends of the bribery spectrum.

Something devastating happened to this Dragon. It had to do with waking up from a nap.

Avery is in an afterschool club on Friday afternoons called future engineers. They were asked to build a structure out of tape and straws. The structure needed to be able to hold a dictionary. He built the structure, and it was the only one in the class that could hold up a dictionary.

Beckett claims that, "Thank you, where are my feet?," is something that he is constantly saying.

Beckett just asked, "Where does the wind go when it stops blowing?"

"If I were to think of a line of all the parents in the world, I bet you'd be the ones with the coolest costumes." Nice.  But we're not wearing, nor can we think of, good costumes for tonight. Avery's so supportive.

"Mom, it would be funny, if on the phone it would correct you when you wrote,"Beckett," and it would write,"a tiger." Avery, after getting scratched by Beckett.
