OCD Baby?
Avery will point out the smallest pieces of dirt. The irony of it is that HE usually causes the dirtiness. For example, he'll yell, "Dirty! Yogu!," when he finds a ground up yogurt-covered raisin on the floor. Or he'll throw macaroni on the ground and yell, "Clean it! Dirty!" Luckily, this is countered by the fact that HE actually likes to clean. He was, therefore, thrilled, when Walker offered the position as "cleaner helper" to him tonight. While Walker vacuumed, Avery used his little swiffer to clean in the hard to reach spots. And he really got into it, too. He was down on his belly, cleaning under the sofa, under our dressers in the bedroom, dusting the bookshelves on the third floor. While this is all great, my only concern is that he's going to soon realize that we are his sloppy parents, who only occasionally make their bed, vacuum less than once a week (even though we need it more) and are just fine with that.
