From the Mouths of (Our) Babes

Avery was in a MOOD yesterday. It was the kind of mood that makes you question whether you'd have a second one. He was fussing and crying and didn't seem to know what to do with himself. This is so unlike the way he normally behaves, so we didn't know what to do for him. Then, we came upon the parking lot of the Angel Foods Market up the way. It is made of broken cutlery---shiny, colorful peices of broken cups and bowls. Avery finally had a smile on his face! He sat down in the middle of the broken glass and finally...FINALLY...seemed like he was where he wanted to be.

Avery is beginning to feel restricted in the spaces he's allowed to roam free. He wants out!

Little A did not find this as fun and hysterical as we thought he would.
