Weather Report & School Pictures




Avery announced this morning, "Today, in the beginning, it will be a little cold. Then, it's gonna get warmer. It might get a little hot. Later, it might rain a little bit."

I never posted Avery's first school photos. This is a serious milestone. He has SCHOOL PICTURES. We ordered one of these three... It's so obvious that he's not into being photographed by the mean photographer lady. I never actually met her, but I could even tell I didn't like her by the tone in the note she sent out. She said something about making sure you got your 'kids hair cut' before the photo day.

I think it was funny that you could have your picture touched up, fix hair out of place and such...comeon they are kids, they are suppose to be messy!!

Updates: 1. Avery has learned how to gallop. He calls it skipping, and he has been doing it all around the living room, street, park, store... since yesterday afternoon. Everywhere. 2. A New Food Every Three Days...

If you were to try a new food every three days for about a year, don't you think you'd get to the point where you had to be really creative to find something new? With combinations of ingredients, knowing that you have tried one dish, you would think that you'd exhaust the possibilities. Well, we've been new foods like this for some time now, and every time I go to the grocery or Farmer's Market, I come back with something new for Avery. Ritz crackers were introduced today! Chive cream cheese was on the menu a few days ago. This evening, we combined the two for Ritz cracker and chive cream cheese fiesta. Avery hogged down seven crackers piled high with cream cheese, had a huge piece of extra sharp cheddar, and some berry applesauce. This was all washed down with a huge bottle of organic whole milk, which friend Jeanna says, "tastes like fresh cut grass and ice cream."
