Nan Loves this Move



It was a SNOW DAY today...hence, all the posts. Avery and I worked out together. You have to turn your head to the side to see this video, and ignore how stupid I look in the background. I am sure that is easy because Avery is just SO cute doing his little raised foot dance...and then he gets so distracted with everything he sees. He still gets a lot of praise for being a "good dancer" at school. The whole 'loves to dance' (despite, perhaps, not having a lot of rhythm) thing has to be something I take credit for, I know.

Oh, also, despite the draw of the blowy snow, Avery resisted, stayed inside most of the day, and wore this costume. Yes, he's wearing a little skirt. And wings. He also frequently requested that we fix his,"head boppers," because they kept falling off.

Updates: 1. Avery has learned how to gallop. He calls it skipping, and he has been doing it all around the living room, street, park, store... since yesterday afternoon. Everywhere. 2. A New Food Every Three Days...

If you were to try a new food every three days for about a year, don't you think you'd get to the point where you had to be really creative to find something new? With combinations of ingredients, knowing that you have tried one dish, you would think that you'd exhaust the possibilities. Well, we've been new foods like this for some time now, and every time I go to the grocery or Farmer's Market, I come back with something new for Avery. Ritz crackers were introduced today! Chive cream cheese was on the menu a few days ago. This evening, we combined the two for Ritz cracker and chive cream cheese fiesta. Avery hogged down seven crackers piled high with cream cheese, had a huge piece of extra sharp cheddar, and some berry applesauce. This was all washed down with a huge bottle of organic whole milk, which friend Jeanna says, "tastes like fresh cut grass and ice cream."
