From the Mouths of (Our) Babes

"I want to get famous making Legos and movies so I can get $3,000.  I will give $1,000 to my family, $1,000 to the poor and $1,000 to keep.  I probably will get famous because most people who make movies get famous."  Avery just woke up after napping on our car ride.

"Mommy?" (11th time, from the top bunk.) "Yes, Avery, I'm still here." "I just say mommy to get your attention.  Otherwise it's like I'm talking to the wall."

Beckett: "I used to hit my friends, but I don't anymore." Me: "I'm so glad you are not hitting your friends." Beckett:"I'm not hitting them because I am sitting at home."

"I remember when Beckett was born like it was yesterday.  It almost was yesterday."  Avery
