From the Mouths of (Our) Babes

Today I went to Nan and Poppy's. After I helped Poppy organize his desk area, Nan I made music with Mexican instruments. It was a long day, so I was happy to get back in the car and take a nap. I might be getting too big for my 2nd carseat already!

I went to the park today with daddy. I wore my red snowsuit and had my groovy blanket with me to keep me toasty. Daddy took me to see snow for the first time. I am sure it was really pretty, but I fell asleep before we got there. Here are the pictures as proof I was there. And thank you for your notes. They helped me feel better! I am almost fully recovered.

I am not fully recovered, but started to feel much better today! I loved going out with mom to look at murals on South Street, and to the bookstore. We sat in the kiddie section and read some board books. My favorite books were the ones about trucks that had wheels. Those were fun. As you can see, I got my appetite back a bit. If only I could eat some food.

I have been feeling icky lately, as has daddy. I've been doing a lot of sleeping, and surely will recover soon. I have my phone nearby in case anyone needs to reach me.

Today we went shopping for some stuff and a balloon. I was directing the choices, clearly, but somehow we ended up with less milk at home than I wanted. Next time I get to sit in the big chair, we WILL address these issues. Rest assured. And that balloon will be more exciting after being tied to my wrist.

My day included a stroll in the park to look at the snowscape, a trip to the Sofitel to watch people go by from the picture window, and lots of eating. Lovely! Later, I had a great night of rolling and eating, until my parents tried to get me to pose in my new red hat. I wasn't pleased.
